I really enjoyed staying at Scottish Inns Postdam, NY! The Inn is newly renovated, and has high quality furnishings. The place is quiet and peaceful to get good rest and not too far from the Adirondacks. The stores and restaurants are also nearby. Friendly people in the office.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL THEY WILL SCAM YOU! Just recently visited where I was a solo traveler and stayed for three nights and during those three nights the shower didn't work. They didn't provide any toiletries beyond a bar soap and the smallest shampoo bottle. The main reason I'm writing this review is because after checking out of the hotel they charged me an additional $200 saying I brought an animal into the room even though I never did and refuse to correct this in a professional manner. They will try to charge you for bogus claims. I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE

The owners are amazing and attentive. The security is also a plus . Love the room. It has the best shower. It has an amazing smell it has after they clean it daily . Love the view and atmosphere. Pet friendly for an extra charge. Location is perfect for out of town vibe walmart right down the road and can assces down town in minutes. Could use a fan, no ac in some rooms not a big deal. All in all perfect even has a breakfast nook. Coffee cereal fruit and toast. Free wifi a perfect touch

Old-fashioned, tiny rooms. Great bathroom and shower, wonderful beds, and spotless. There isn't spread out space and clothes space is minimal, but certainly not a hardship if not staying very long. Definitely will use it again.

Very nice rates. Staff was right on it when there was was an issue. Rooms were clean. We had a restful nite sleep. Would highly recommend

In Potsdam for a wedding and looking for a reasonable rate for an overnight stay. Found it. The room was very nice. Continental breakfast provided in the morning. Very nice staff and (assume) owners. Excellent accommodations.

Stayed overnight at this place during my move in days in Potsdam and had a great experience. The place is clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The staff are very nice and showed great hospitality. Would definitely recommend for a pleasant stay.

Quaint and charming Inn just outside of town. Room was clean and fresh. Owners were extremely kind and on my way out asked how everything was. Plenty of parking. Very reasonably priced. Second time staying there and I will be booking again next year.

I’m a man in my 50’s,, retired US Army (aviation) and now a career letter carrier with the USPS. Every year I drive myself from my home in central Massachusetts to Potsdam NY to spend time with family on the July 4th holiday. This year I stayed at the Scottish Inn. FIVE STARS!!! The owners are the best, and I even spoke with the housekeeper for a minute or two about my trip, they are all very nice people. The room was great, perfect for me, clean, comfortable, quiet, very safe, and a short drive to restaurants, gas stations, stores. I will be staying there again next year. Highly recommend!!
