The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort and Players Inn receives mixed reviews, with many guests praising its clean, updated rooms and friendly staff. While the casino floor offers a variety of new machines and table games, concerns regarding unreliable Wi-Fi and occasional service issues persist. The overall experience seems to be a fun, albeit potentially risky, gambling destination for those in the area.
Slots are so tight its not even worth it anymore. Guess they have to pay for all the new stuff some how... 10-20 years ago i could make 1 k last me the night. Now lol im lucky if that 1k goes 3 hrs...
I only visited the casino. Drove in from Montreal took a bit under 2 hours. The location is easy to find and there was plenty of parking on a sunday night. The staff was very nice and the service was good. The dealers at the craps table were a little inexperienced but one experienced dealer was helping them. Good experience at the table. Did not have to wait to play, which is a great thing for craps, tables are usually full with people waiting in other casinos I have visited. The minimum at the table was 5$ which is great. They also offer the ATS bonus game which is the most fun to play in my experience. The casino itself is nice, pretty big with tons of slot machines and a good amount of table games. There was a perceptible odor of cigarette at the entrance of the casino, but once inside I did not smell it anymore. They had a dedicated smoking area with automatic doors inside. I did not visit it so I do not know what games they offer there. The buffet was closed when I was done at the tables. The prices seemed a little high to me but that might be standard in the USA. They offer free soda through a self serve soda machine. I don't know if they have free alcohol at the table or not since I don't drink. Overall it was a great experience. I recommend this casino if you are in the area.
We stopped in and spent the night, the rooms are nice and big. Service was awesome, the staff was very friendly. I had a nice big breakfast before I checked into the Partridge House just down the street ? I enjoyed my time living with the Akwesasne Tribe for a couple of months ?
They've recently updated the rooms and they are fantastic! New wallpaper, carpeting and flooring. New wallpaper and carpet in all the corridors too. It really looks great. Food in The Tavern restaurant is always good, and Laura the hostess is always so sweet and accommodating. Look forward to seeing her every visit. It seems like there are a lot of new machines on the casino floor. I Was there Sunday of President's day weekend, and the casino was very busy, but no problem getting a machine. The energy was great. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. The hotel front desk staff is always friendly and efficient. Checked out the fitness room on the 2nd floor which was also nice. If you have never been here, or it's been awhile since you visited, i recommend you check it out. You won't be disappointed.
Tricksters for sure. Don’t listen to the emails they send you, it is literally only a gimmick to get you to stay longer. I was told I had free play for Friday, so I stayed here until midnight for no reason other than to waste my money waiting for this “free play” I stopped coming here for a reason and this just reminded me why. Better casinos within the same driving distance as Plattsburgh. Not worth it in my opinion. Not to mention ending my night with a machine opening up and smashing my ankle. What a night
Hotel rooms are good but the bathrooms could use a refresh. Not all casino tables open mid week. Slots are good. Generous free play. Maple dining room not open mid week.
I haven't had the pleasure of staying here yet. I intend to one day though. The casino is very nice with friendly and helpful staff. Always have a good time...win or lose! ?
Was 2nd time there, again we had a good time and went to buffet this time for lunch. It was a little limited on regular food but had a bunch of goodies in the sweets section. We definitely will be back for some more fun. And if you go during your birthday month they give you a meal coupon which is nice if you're losing lol. Definitely worth the trip
Can't comment on the rooms or the service. I lived in Vegas for 15 years and the inside of this place feels like a upper end locals casino. It is clean with a lot of modern slots. It is conveniently located to Montreal, but not any place else. I don't know that I would make the 2 hour trip to go back, but it was fun for the 30 minutes and $140 I spent in the place. Like a said, reminded me of a locals casino in Vegas.
Fun place to lose money. LOL Clean, smoke free casino. The games are newer and fun to play. The restaurants have pretty darn good food at reasonable prices. We go maybe once every month or so just for fun. Never come home flush with cash but always come home having had a great time and with a full belly!
