We had a great stay! The room was clean, neat, and surprisingly spacious. The shower was spotless, and the towels were fresh, soft, and of good quality. Everything was well maintained, and we had a comfortable, enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again!

The Blue Spruce is a fantastic place to stay when traveling through the Massena area. The rooms are clean, updated and very comfortable. We really enjoyed having a full kitchen in our room, and also greatly appreciated the outdoor sitting areas. Mike is great to talk with. Im excited to try the honey from his local bee hives. Massena has needed a place like this for a while. Will definitely stay here again.

We tried to book the Motel online, but it keep rejecting our payment methods. After trying three credit cards, we needed to move on and choose another hotel. I received a call the night where we tried to make a reservation and was told I would be charged despite the payment ws never accepted, nothing was confirmed, no confirmation email. The owner was extremely rude, blaming me for everything, including saying that he didnt have the time to send me a confirmation email because he is too bust running a business. He alao blamed me for not calling despite the fact that I live in Canada and cant call US numbers. He said he is going to charge me because apparently he has my credit card on file.

Honestly, this place was amazing. The shop had so many different varieties of items, and their honey was definitely one of the highlights for me. They had multiple flavors, but I personally loved the classic raw honey the most. I haven’t had natural raw honey that tasted this fresh and rich in a long time. The bigger container especially tasted more concentrated somehow, and it was absolutely delicious. I was also surprised by some of the unique items they had in the shop. I found an awesome vintage-style car that looked incredible and was a really cool addition to the items I like to keep. Little details like that made the experience feel even more special. The room was also very neat, clean, and comfortable. Everything felt well taken care of, and it honestly made the whole stay even better. You can tell they put effort into making the place feel welcoming and enjoyable. Overall, I’m very satisfied with everything I bought and with my visit in general. Great products, great variety, and definitely a place I’d recommend checking out.

Cleaner than any big chain, and the staff are awesome. Nice quiet location, no fuss, comfy rooms. Don’t skip the gift shop (or the good home made foods.) I only wish I’d had a few more days here.

If you love a personable experience when you're away from home, then Blue Spruce Motel is the perfect location! The owners are on site and super friendly and accommodating. Gina from Massena Treats and Gift Shop is on site with the BEST friend donuts! Our room was clean, spacious, and met our needs. Full size hair dryer, coffee maker, iron & ironing board....did I say full size?!?! Yes!!! And don't forget the refrigerator that's NOT a dorm size one! Perfect for refreezing our ice packs and storing our drinks. It's everything that screams comfort while away from home. If you prefer a quiet, relaxing, personable stay, then stop on in. Make yourself at home and relax! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Friendly staff, quiet location, clean room. Very simple but you can see they try hard to deliver a clean and maintained room. Our room had a microwave and fridge. You dont get these in typical hotels.

Honestly this place was perfect. Cleanest room I've probably ever stayed in. Very quiet. Incredible staff. We accidentally tripped a breaker(100% our bad) and they had the power back on in like 30 seconds. They have free laundry for guests with a very nice large washer and dryer. The gift shop has all kinds of local specialties, handmade goods, and even free samples. I can't recommend this place enough if you're staying in the area. It's also right next to a pizza place. If I'm ever back in the area, I won't be looking at any other lodging.

Very comfy bed and spacious room, and it was also spotless clean. Went to visit family out there and will definitely be staying there again in the future!
