We got to stay at Camp Caledonia on the final weekend it was open for the fall. We had both our dogs, and our Sulcata Tortoise, and the owners were totally fine with our weird combination. It was beautiful, peaceful, and the owner was very knowledgeable about the area. We got to take one of the boats out with the dogs, and enjoy the wonderful fall weather. Definitely a dream when it comes to disconnecting from the busy world back home. We definitely plan on coming back next summer.

The only good thing about place was the location. Was a great place to stay when it was owned by the Davis’s.We had been staying there for years when it was sold. We gave it 4 years and said no more. The grounds are overgrown, can barely get ahold of the owners, when our boat rental was broken down for most of the week is when we said no more. Was sad to see what was once a nice place go into disarray.

We loved the comfortable cabins of Camp Caledonia! The view of Black Lake from MacPherson cottage is perfect. All appliances, furniture, bathrooms were well kept and clean. Wi-fi was very fast. There was a fleet of boats available, from powered pontoons down to kayaks and canoes. We plan to return next year!

Clean, comfortable cabins a convenient distance from Thousand Islands tourism. Camp managers Lawrence and Megan are welcoming and responsive. Black Lake is beautiful, and it was easy to settle in as a first-time visitor. We hope to be back!
