The receptionists were perfectly friendly. Very understandable. Try the best they can to help however, I don't know if it was the janitor or are the housekeeper that went into my room without infirming me? I did have a I do not disturb sign on the outside of my door. Nobody did not call me From my telephone number which in they have went into my room without letting me know make their way whenever they choose to make their way with put my do not disturb sign inside of the room. Maybe acting like if I'm crazy. Wishing I knew I have it outside cuz I have a picture showing that I added outside I felt like my privacy was invaded, and I'm very upset about it. I have big dreams for the hotel because I come upset every week and I will be coming upstate every week for the next year and a half and I thought that was my home away from home but I will not be staying there anymore because my privacy was invaded. That's why I give the hotel one star for service

My husband and daughter stayed over for a college tour. I have stayed here before it changed hands and became a Best Western and had no issues. My husband and daughter checked into a half cleaned room with towels and sheets stacked up on a chair, unmade beds and a dirty bathroom that had not been cleaned. My husband brought up the issue immediately with the front desk receptionist. She apologized, cleaned and made up the room herself and credited us (still waiting on the refund…) the night. The front desk staff was amazing but it sounds like the hotels hired traveling cleaning crew needs to be remediated immediately…

Beware on weekends. They accommodate hockey teams who take over the entire hotel. They stay in the lobby all day and night. Kids are screaming and running around hallways till wee hours of the morning while parents hang in lobby. Hotel makes you sign quiet hour agreement upon check in but when I called at midnight to ask them to address it they told me there was no quiet hour policy! Two nights of no sleep. Go elsewhere. There’s a nice Hilton down the street that’s professionally run. I was pulling for this renovated hotel in a great location but they need to get better management and a handle on the behavior of their guests.

Amazing hotel, friendly staff, free water bottles, gym, plenty parking, pet friendly, lovely rooms and interiors.

We so loved our stay at the Best Western in Potsdam. From the moment we walked in, Will and all of the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Will was especially kind to our son, from bringing out Halloween candy to giving him a Spider-Man coloring book to keep him busy. We won't forget our trip, and hope we to someday make it back to The North Country and the good people here. Thank you, Will, and the rest of the Best Western team!

Outstanding service. Very comfortable. Helpful staff. Beautiful location next to park on Raquette River and quaint downtown Potsdam. Very convenient access to restaurants, shops, etc.

Beautiful, clean, large rooms, great service and ample parking. Room decor was nicely updated with lots of outlets and easy-to-use lighting. Really impressed by this BW.

Ms Lepage contacted us day of check in to advise they had a flood that morning and could no longer accommodate us. She had already found an alternate best western and pre booked us. So although we never stayed at this location I can say her professionalism and willingness to solve the problem was above and beyond and much appreciated.

Love the local people in Potsdam. Very friendly and welcoming. Crane school of music is a good place to visit, and so is public museum. Best experience visiting New York state with family.

Rooms are beautiful, spacious, modern. Front desk staff are responsive and excellent. Hotel is under construction at the moment so the entrance is a little rough.
