Lawrence Manor offers a generally positive experience with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and comfortable accommodations. Recent guests have praised the cleanliness, value, and accommodating staff, particularly highlighting the relaxed setting and proximity to local amenities. However, there’s a significant concern regarding disrespectful treatment of animals.

about 1 year agohad a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect — close to everything I needed. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.”Beautiful hotel with great service and luxury comfort. Loved every moment!”

about 1 year agoWatched the owner kick the neighbors cats I don’t think that’s very appropriate seeming how the cats were just walking around and not harming anything or anyone the owner is very rude and very judgmental I hope she realizes that animal cruelty is not ok.

about 1 year agoI will 100% stay here again! The owner and staff were all wicked nice. Obviously not the Ritz, but the room was perfect for me.

over 1 year agoI am an OTR truck driver and my truck had a major breakdown which required an extended stay. I stayed at the Lawrence Manor motel portion. I must say that this visit had to be the most relaxing time I have ever had at a motel! The rooms are actually clean, with modern up to date appliances Ms. Donna the Owner is a gem, she does her best to make you feel at home. And Ms. Christina is also the nicest as can be. Thank you Ladies for making a problem that I was having not so bad. The area is quiet and food within walking distance. If in the area stop by you won’t regret it.

over 2 years agoGreat place to stay and very affordable. We have 3 kids and most hotels are just too cramped. This was not the case here plenty of room. There is a nice simple but usable kitchenette as well which is nice to save money on eating out. Highly recommend choosing here.

about 4 years agoI stayed at the Lawrence Manor on an extended basis for work. The staff was responsive and kind and made my months with them a joy. The rooms are clean, and the housekeeping team was professional and respectful of my belongings. The location is great, right in the middle of town. There is a grocery store within walking distance (Price Chopper) and a convenient store just around the corner. I will continue to recommend the Lawrence Manor to co-workers and out of town visitors traveling through Gouverneur.

over 7 years agoLawrence Manor is a lovely B&B with an additional charge 9 nice motel rooms in the back. We stayed in a room with an efficiency area. This was the second time we stayed in that particular room...really nice and cozy! Donna and the staff are very accomodating and friendly. We have not tried the B&B... we highly recommend the Lawrence Manor and plan to stay there again! 25 thumbs up!
