The rock house was exactly as described and even more charming in person. The area is quiet and feels very private. We loved how cozy and warm the little heater kept us at night during the first frost of the season. Everything was impeccably clean and well organized. We would love to return for a longer visit!

We had a wonderful first-time camping experience at The Rock House! The property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The trails were gorgeous and well marked, making it easy to explore and enjoy nature. The river was amazing, and we especially loved relaxing in the sauna after a day of hiking. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and the site had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a fantastic trip and we would definitely love to visit again!

Beautiful spot, about 20 minutes outside of downtown Potsdam. My partner and I had a lovely time! Our hosts even included ingredients for s’mores in the kitchen! We’d love to stay here again next time we’re in Potsdam.

This property is absolutely beautiful! The setting was peaceful and full of things to do. We loved exploring the trails, spending time fishing, and kayaking on the water. The tram ride to the island was such a unique and fun experience—it made our stay feel extra special. Everything about the property and the surroundings made for a relaxing and memorable trip. Highly recommend!
